Virtual Fittings FAQs

These are some of the most common questions that we
get asked. If you can't find the answers you're looking for please get in touch or send us an email on hello@molke.co.uk

Q: Do I need to book an appointment?

A: Yes please! You can book one by emailing us on hello@molke.co.uk. We want to be able to give you our full attention, so we can only fit one person per appointment. It’s totally fine for you to have someone there on the call with you for assistance or support if needed.

When you send us an email, we will respond with an appointment date and time, along with a Pre-Fitting Questionnaire for you to fill out some basic information.

Your appointment will not be confirmed until we receive the questionnaire back from you.

Q: How long does a virtual fitting last?

A: Our virtual fittings last up to 20 minutes. Due to us being a small team and only having limited spots for fittings, we have to stick to this, but follow up appointments can be arranged if required.

Q: How do they work?

A: Our virtual fittings are carried out via Zoom. After completing your Pre-Fitting Questionnaire, your appointment will be confirmed and you will be sent an email containing a link to your video call. If you click on the link at your assigned time, you will be let into a virtual waiting room. One of our lovely fitting team will then admit you to the call and talk you through your fitting.

Q: What do I need for the appointment?

A: As our fittings are carried out by Zoom, please try and make sure you have a stable internet connection so the call isn’t disrupted.

We need to be able to see the fit clearly, so please take the call in a place with good lighting and space for you to show the fit to our fitter.

It is also handy to have a soft tape measure to hand – again, please don’t worry if you haven’t got one as we can still help.

Oh and of course your bra…. More on that below.

Q: Do I need to already have a Molke bra?

A: Our virtual fittings are to help you find your fit in a Molke bra. As our sizing is unique to us, it does make it easier for us to check your fit if you already have one of our bras. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer fit advice on non-Molke bras.

If you are brand new to Molke and haven't one of our bras already, we recommend using our size calculator to find your starting size. You can then book in with us for a Virtual Fitting once it arrives and we can check over your fit. If you need any help using the calculator, please don't hesitate to send us an email to hello@molke.co.uk.

Q: Do I need to be undressed on camera?

All of our calls start with a chat with you fully covered and please rest assured that you will not be expected to do anything during the call that you are not totally comfortable with.

Please have the bra to hand for the appointment and if possible, have it already on under your clothes, to help us make the most of the fitting time.

It is helpful for us to see the bra on to properly assess the fit. Your fitter will have seen hundreds of other bodies before, and isn’t there to judge yours. However, we understand that some people are uncomfortable baring their bodies.

After the initial chat, your fitter will ask if you are comfortable showing your bra to them – there is no pressure to do this and you can change your mind at any time during the call.

If you are comfortable showing the fitter your bra, they will have a look over the fit and ask you questions about how it feels.

If you would prefer not to get undressed, we can look at your fit with a fitted top or vest on over the top of the bra.

Please remember, we are there to help you in any way we can.

Q: My teen needs a bra fitting? Do you offer this?

A: Yes, we can provide fittings for under 18s, but only with their full consent and with a parent or guardian present and visible on the call.

Understandably, fittings for young people can be nerve-wracking and we will always try and answer any questions beforehand or during the call to help with this. We encourage the attending adult to allow the young person being fitted the opportunity to answer questions for themselves and let our fitter guide them through the fitting.

Q: How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

A: If you can’t make your appointment, please drop us over an email to hello@molke.co.uk so we can rearrange it for you. We only have limited spaces available, so letting us know early that you cannot attend, helps us to reassign the slot to someone else.

Please be prompt for your appointment. We are only a small team and want to help as many people as possible to be comfy and find a good fit. At the start of the call, we will wait for 5 minutes for you to join us.
After this time, the appointment will be cancelled.

Q: Is the call private and secure?

A: The calls take place in a private room with one of our trained fitting team, away from any distractions. Occasionally, there may be an additional member of the team helping out to make sure you get the best fit.

In terms of security, the calls are via a secure Zoom call and will never be recorded. Whilst we have done all we can to ensure that your calls are secure, we cannot be held responsible for any security issues.

Q: Can I have someone with me?

A: Yes, absolutely! We want you to feel comfortable on the call and so having someone there to assist is totally fine. Due to the length of the appointment, we are only able to fit one person per call.

Q: Do virtual fittings work?

Yes they do! It can really help for our team to see your fit and talk over what you are looking for and any issues you may be having. As with all bra fitting, there can still be some trial and error but we do offer free UK returns and international exchanges so a virtual fitting can get you on your way to having comfy boobs!

Q: How much do virtual fittings cost?

A: Virtual fittings are free and there is no obligation to buy anything. We genuinely want to find you a well fitting bra as believe every body deserves to find comfort.

Q: What if I don’t want to do a virtual fitting – are there any other options?

A: At the moment we are unable to do in person fittings however our fab team are always happy to chat over your fit on the phone (01738 553840), on webchat or via email (hello@molke.co.uk).
